Their seasoned excellence and combined decades of experience intensify the
palpable
current of the original guitar, while infusing Less Traveled's live shows with the riveting ease
of a professional jam session.
The group has also honed its sound through the stream of prestigious musicians with
whom they have shared
a stage, from San Francisco's Merl Saunders to local favorites Agents of
Good Roots.
Less Traveled's unique interplay of talent and personality is enhanced during their funky
jams, which are sprinkled liberally throughout, and in their innovative renderings of such
cover tunes as Stevie Wonder's "Big Brother" and Widespread Panic's "Picking Up the
Pieces".
While the true essence of Less Traveled lies in the passion of their
live performances, their
debut CD, "Nobody", captures the precision and complexity of their sound.
With a number of high-profile musicians lending a hand on the CD including Everything's
Nate Brown on vocals and J.C. Kuhl of Agents of Good Roots on saxophone -- the 12-track
set captures Less Traveled's uncanny ability to draw upon the best of the best in weaving
their unique style.
Less Traveled is "A must see, must experience band. Look for them to stake their
claim in
the music industry," predicted former Pitch Magazine publisher Jeff Hoolihan.
Now, with decades of experience behind them -- and their distinct sound captured by their
debut CD, "Nobody"-- Less Traveled's appeal will be finally delivered from beyond its
regional confines.
And that should make all the difference.
